Obituary for Bernard J. Hayden

Bernard J.  Hayden
BEACON FALLS: Mr. Bernard J. Hayden, age 50, beloved husband of 28 years to Janette M. (Geraldino) Hayden of Beacon Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He was born on January 28, 1961 in Rocky Hill and was the son of the late Bernard and Rose Marie (Flagg) Hayden. Bernard was an IT Manager at Yale University for over 20 years.

In addition to his devoted wife, Bernard leaves his son, Shawn Hayden of Middlebury and his daughter, Chelsey Hayden of Beacon Falls and his mother, Mary (Willi-Duhs) Hayden of Orange. He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Heber Duhs, Hugh (Lynn) Duhs, Anna (Steve) Horton, Christina Fisher, Karen Hayden-Brockett, Brenda Toren, Maureen (Ralph) Melino, Brian (Glenda) Hayden and Daniel Hayden and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT 06477. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Haven Community Soup Kitchen, 84 Broad Street, New Haven, CT 06510 or to Rachael’s Vineyard, 70 Gulf Street, Milford, CT 06460.
