Walter Madigosky

Joanne Briggs sent me the notice of Chester's passing. I have been researching the family genology and have some infomation on his dad Peter (the only one of the Madigosky children that happened to be born in Izby, the family village now in Poland). We visited there last year. Eventually I will try and write it all down. I was talking to Freddy Madigosky and he pointed out that there are not many of us old guys left. I'm 74. I didn't know that Chester worked at the same company my mom did (Bic). If anyone knows of any family history I would sure like to talk to them. One thing confuses me is how the name got changed from Maciejowski to Madigosky. The 1904 Ellis Island record shows that the children returned on the SS Rheim from Bremmen Germany on 13 feb 1904 and went to Seymour CT P.O. Box 95. They were: John 10, Stephan 8, Petro 6, Josyf 4, and Marya 3. They were brought over by Ewa Plaskin (cousin) The parents Dymitr (Martin) and Orina (Irene Plaskin)maciejowski from Izby Galicia (Austria Hungry Empire). So much for family history-I am still working on it. On my side my adopted daughter Sharon Hutson lives down the street and has 5 children 2 boys and 3 year old identical twin girls. Wendy Madigosky our natural daughter is married to Craig Sirkin and has a 1 year old Isaac. Wendy is a medical doctor at the Univ of Colorado in Denver. My condolences to all - its been a long time since we have seen any of the family and I hope some day we can all get together again and chat.
