SEYMOUR, CT: Eric R. Garcia, 56 of Seymour, formerly of Ansonia and Naugatuck, CT, and Baja, Mexico entered peaceful rest on December 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by the care of his family and friends. He was born October 18, 1957 in Bronx, NY, beloved son of Gloria (Soto) Garcia of Seymour, and the late Raoul Garcia. Eric was a Real Estate Manager at Playa del Parasio Resorts, Baja, Mexico. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, Eric leaves his loving family including a son, Jeremiah Ambrose (Kristen) of Natick, MA, brothers, Raoul "Roly" Garcia of Tampa, FL, James Mayoral of Vista, CA, and Ralph Garcia of Cyprus, CA, his sisters, Margarita Garcia and Yvonne Garcia both of San Juan, PR, Madeleine Sodins of Seymour, Cathy Ryan of Waterbury, and Lori Capozzi of Wolcott, and several nieces and nephews. His brother John Mayoral predeceased him.

Calling Hours are Saturday, Jan. 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Funeral Service in celebration of Eric's life at 2 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour.
