SEYMOUR, CT: Kurt R. Pohl age 51 of Seymour, formerly of Oxford entered into peaceful rest December 18, 2010; he was the husband of Gisele (Gambino) Pohl. Mr. Pohl was born October 6, 1959 in Fort Atkinson, WI, son of Jane (Umphrey) Pohl of Sun City Center, FL, and the late Robert Pohl. Kurt was an Office Building Engineer for several different locations. He had a genuine love of animals and he loved to cook. Kurt was musically inclined and had a keen ear for music; he enjoyed reading and had a great appreciation for science and history. He especially loved being in warm weather climates.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Pohl leaves a sister, Linda Alich and her husband Rick of Cincinnati, OH, three nieces, Anna, Laura, and Christine, and a nephew Tore. All services are private. Memorial gifts may be sent to petprotectorrescue.org
