Kurt was my best friend when I lived in Des Moines IA. We did everything together- work , sports, band, beer can collecting, rode bikes across Iowa...everything. I last saw Kurt and Gisele in St Augustine back in the 80s I think. I am shocked and saddened to read of his passing a few years ago and I hope he did not suffer.
