Where do I begin??

Way too many memories to pick just one!!! But here are a few that come to mind quickly... Larry used to take Heather down the hill to pick up the bus when we lived on Sanford Street and she was in high school. One day he tells me that he took her to school and she looked at the radio and exclaimed "Oh my God, I am late!! It's 6:60!! In his very nonchalant way, he educated her on that was the radio station and not the time!! To this day we can laugh about it!! The next story is of a time when my youngest Kaitlin went missing when she was about 3 1/2 years old. I went crazy around the house looking for her but found her safely helping Larry in the driveway 2 houses up. I saw Larry in the driveway and yelled "Is Kaitlin there?" He said, "yep!" It became a regular thing for her. Either go to see Larry & Carol in the yard or she would go across the street to Chrissy & Bruces. We had that kind of neighborhood when the kids were young, as long as Carol & Larry and Chrissy & Bruce were around I never had to worry. My husband has a memory of when Larry had his white convertable and he wanted to take it for a spin. Mind you that it was not registered at the time. So he and Joe took their open cans of beer started the car to take it for a spin around the block. They headed down Cedar street, which no one ever drove on, this is the road that ran behind our houses. Joey just happen to look in the side view mirror and a police office was following them!! Joey of course saved Larry and hid his beer for him. Because what are friends for, right?? Larry explained very innocently that he was just taking the car for a spin around the block and the cop let him go. Many other memories, just like anyone that had any kind of relationship with Larry. A great man that will live forever in our hearts.
