I have known Lori for the past three years because she worked with Galen, and she and Galen spent at least one block every day in the Keene High School library with me. We had some great talks about rock bands, leather jackets, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, her daughter Kelly, and life in general. Galen and I used to pick on Lori for taking too long to read a book that he had already listened to. She used to cover her ears and hum so she couldn't hear us talking about a part she hadn't gotten to yet. I love that Galen got Lori to read the Twilight series. I would run into Galen and Lori around town in the summer. One summer I met them outside Toadstool Bookshop and Galen's face was all scratched up from a fall while driving too fast. Lori and I used to tell Galen to slow down so you can bet we used his little accident to keep preaching that message to him. Lori was a lovely woman who was always smiling and happy and fun.
